After using the rewind time everything came back to normal. Deruth spawn in the demon king castle. He find the demon king in their early distorted phase. weaker than the last time. They meet. He immediately takes advantage of it.
The demon king who's unable to use the overpowered magic. Still able to attack using it's bare hand and almost defeated Deruth. By a surprise attack. Seem like the demon king memory was still not erased. He wear his gloves. Before charging forward.
He dodge it's weakened attacks. He dash forward and punch the demon king in the same spot he got hit. While it's having a hard time to control it own body And hurt. deruth shout hoping it will hear him.
"Wake up!"
The demon king attacked back. Both of them exchange blows. Deruth put his increase stat to defense and speed. While the other stat are balance. It allows him to counter the demon king. Both of them screams exchanging blows per blows.
Deruth one leg got grabbed. Making him unable dodge he tried to shield himself but the impact was too strong *bang bangg bangg trrrrrr bangggg* the last hit breaks his guard. He grabbed the demon king horn.
"I will save you. So pls f#cking wake up dammit it"
After deruth say it. he got hit clean in the stomach his eyes almost about to pass out. But he can't accept losing. He can't lose now that he made a declaration that he will save them. He wakes of before his face touch the ground.
"Not today dammit. I will not lose.. Do you hear me not today.."
He stepped on the ground he use area takeover to trick his passive making it believe hes not in combat. By resetting the area. He Immediately use this situation to switch his stat into atk and speed. But it's not easy.
He perform the fastest casting speed. normal people casting speed in full speed in 1 sec can do 3 times but deruth there's extra 2 more sounds. Meaning Thats 5 extra cast. Deruth reaction speed was faster..
than any human. His strategy was simple gambling his own life. The succession rate was too low. to perform a move that fast. Was because his heart in that moment pounding faster making his blood flow faster. His muscles reacts faster.
He's moving in pure instinct and adrenaline rush. The mother immediately guide deruth making him able to feel the pattern. Hes not reading the demon king pattern but his own pattern. Making his attacks undodgeable. Removing it's weakness.
He successfully making the impossible possible. He charged his own body. as he use a skill deruth style " tyrant barrage" he's on eye flames turned dark. His body making frame by frame attack. A movement that allow him to double hit the enemy per hits.
Deruth grabbed the demon king horns and slam his knees. On it's face. Deruth movement was fast. blows per blows making the demon king unable to react at all. The mother was amazed on deruth.
A pure talent covering his mistakes by adding another solution per solutions. Deruth attacks suddenly get slower. The mindless demon looked down at him. Deruth put his head on the distorted creature chest. But he didn't give up.
"I will save you."
Deruth charged his attack immediately after the demon king lowered it guard. The area takeover and deruth style combination making small area shield to double the impact like a bomb. An skill named "betrayal by dremur" he give his all in one attack
"Hah.. see. I told you I'll save you."
The demon king distorted body disappear. Deruth didn't try to damages the demon. He makes sure to only hit the unstable mana around it's body. using the rewind time the ink coated on the demon body. splashes all over the room.
A beautiful lady with horns. That was supposed to be a demon king. Immediately wake up and See's deruth. She remembered deruth. she had all her memories from their long long war till now. She's not aware that she was in the past. Not in the war with him.
"Y-you!!! Mad man how dare you grabbed my horn like it's n-nothing! Are you planning to.. do something on me now that im in this form? you pervert pig!"
"Relax relax we are not. In the future were in the past look outside.. jeez how can you do that face that looks like you're being sold to devil when youre the devil here."
Deruth said the demon king looked outside the window her beautiful hand touch the glass her eyes full of tears. Realizing every demonkind was alive again thanks to deruth. But she doesn't know if its true or fake.
"But how.. ihow did you bring me back to normal. it's impossible"

Deruth show the broken rewind time he used it twice. Now he can't use it again. He only rewind the distortion without hurting her body. By reversing the time. The demon king understand. And about to thank deruth but..
A group of humans was coming towards her castle. She immediately run away. To meet them leaving deruth behind. She run. The demonking slipped on the rock. She stands up and run again.
As she cry. She remembered this moment. The moment her people was murdered. When she reach the Castle gate. she beg on his knees. The group of fully armored people stop for a second. They're shouting at her
"Those creature murderer!"
"Kill her. Demonkind are all evil!"
"Lets kill her before she turn into something"
"All demon shall die"
The demon king cried. Her beautiful dress gets dirty. the dirt on the ground brushiyon her dress. But she didn't mind it she looked back seeing the demon race was smiling and doing their peaceful life. She begs again.
"Plss don't kill anyone.. i will let you kill me. Just please i beg you.. i wont curse you all.. i won't get my revenge.. just please.. they're my family.."
"Liarr we heard that you're turning into a some kind of thing"
"Wait... Im not please listen to me.."
One of the knight with a huge axe step forward. He was about to cut her head off. She closed her eyes. She's Ready to die for her people. Deruth grabbed the axe he suddenly shows up. The demon king was not expecting a help. She's was grateful.
"You.. human why. Would.. you"
"I told you before didn't i. I'll save you.."
Deruth ignore the human and said that in front of humans. Tears suddenly fall on her cheeks as she cry more. The knight holding the axe can't pull off his weapon on deruth hands. He Started panicking.
"You... Human Traitor."
The knight attack deruth but deruth send the two of them in the air making them gets dirty by the dirt too. The rain continue. The humans aim their weapon on deruth.
"Turn back now.. if the demon king turn into some kind of thing I'll deal with it. I don't care if you guys take revenge. But always remember Im always here. Guarding those demon. Send many heroes as you like. I'll kill them all. But if you let them be.. we can live together."
"If humans had hero then I'll become the demon hero.. go back now.."
Deruth use his eyes. To show them the wrath he had. An absolute killing intent to prove his strength. He knows he just showing off and it's not true he's that strong it's just his eyes had that ability. With the help of the mother.
"Im strong enough to stop the demon king when she goes berserk. I'll stop it. so go now.. or ill make you."
Humans started retreating the demon king look up at him. She knows it's just a bluff. That Deruth was such a liar. He's a human he can defeat many but not all. But deep down she's happy being saved by a weak human. Was unexpected. She smiled
"Muhahahaha.."
"What? Did you really goes crazy? Shall i kill you?"
She stopped at laughing she smile. Like she never had before. Despite of being dirty and wet by the rain her smile was beautiful as before. She gets up she bowed her head. Like a maid. As she thank him.
"Thank you my savior.. thanks for saving us. I thought demons like us doesn't deserve to be saved"
She smile as the illusion world started to fade. Everything disappear. The ancient text was surprised. About deruth judgement. A truly balanced justice. Deruth got rewarded the useless mask in his inventory turn black and gets a new ability.
It turn to metallic black as the ability change into. Something that allows deruth to see in frame by frame but. Drain his mana per second. His smile fade after seeing the mana drain issues. But still it's a good weapon. He takes it and use only if need.
"Why i always get useless items."
Deruth said. He finally got transported back to the original world he still feel the demon king smell on him. He gained new passive like immersion, resonate, Synthesize, an skill seems useless only if not fully understand. A voice came from behind.
"Oh. Hello.. deruth"
Deruth immediately look behind. It's the demon king. She looks different. Her horn and face and body was same body her outfit was a maid. She explain something on deruth. She's floating like a ghost while she talks. Her hands roam on deruth face.
"Ohhh deruth. Cute as always huh. Im the demon you save. Actually im still like ghost. There's many thing to explain so I'll tell you later. I'll just say that im one of the reward came from that orb."
She point at that broken orb. That turned into a dust. She walks towards the door. a group of people fully armed. The invader was in the back they all stopped as soon as the demon king. Walks towards them. Her smile gives a bad feeling.
"Oh many uninvited guests. My. my... Come here my Lord.. allow me to guide you. command me.. let's our first strategy game start."
