"Hello Albert." Nezu greeted.
"Hello sir." Albert greeted back. "I came here to tell you that my handler gave me a new job given to us by Hero Public Safety Commission. Investigate Sir Nighteye's death."
"Albert…" Nezu looked at Albert with a calm demeanor. "I have to ask—"
"No I was not involved. Though based on how you reacted, and Handler I can assume Sir Nighteye was a master, right?"
Nezu made a grim face as he slowly nodded.
"Yes. He and most likely Mirio were masters. Just now I found out that just recently that either it was Mirio or Sir Nighteye's servant was actually enrolled here at school."
Albert remembered what Kischur said of the state of the world's Mystery. Due to the emergence of Quirk it is nearly almost gone, if Mystery was an animal it would be classified as Critically Endangered. Because of this Servants as a whole have lost the ability to detect one another and any form of simple magecraft, basically rendering them back to the senses of a normal, highly trained human with sharp senses.
The only outlier to this was Mélusine, this is due in part to her connection with Albert. His Quirk has improved Mélusine to the point that so long as a Servant is close enough and manifests in physical form she would be able to detect them.
As for the case of Ushiwakamaru during the Sports Festival it was due to Sir Nighteye's limited knowledge of Magecraft that he could find a Mystic Code, thanks to Assassin looking and going to locations, that the hairpin could be found to mask a Servant's already weak presence to that of a normal human.
"Is that so? What was her name?"
"Midoriko Usui." Nezu said. "Quirk, Wind Speed. She could move as fast as the wind."
'Given she was a rider it's no surprise she would make it easier for herself.'
"Well in any case, I will be gone for a while. Not sure how long. I will be quick if I can."
"Then take care." Nezu nodded.
Albert nodded and left.
"Hah…" He let out a sigh. He waited a few minutes just encase Mélusine was in the room. "I swear I have to question if she is any room Albert enters now." He picks up his phone and called All Might.
Click!
"Toshi? How are doing?"
All Might didn't come in to school today, currently he was at home in his bed, just lying there.
"… Fine." He softly replied.
"It seems they decided to use Albert to get to the bottom of Mirai's death. Seems they are using this opportunity to find and deal with the last three pairs left in the Grail War."
"… Nezu tell me. Do you think Albert did it on Herod's orders?"
"No." he shook his head. "Given their nature and power they would have simply just erased him off the face of the planet or made sure to uploads child pornography onto his computer to ensure his name and memory are forever stained and then leave the public eye quickly. This is far too big of a spectacle for his liking."
"They must be happy he died. I am sure eventually they would have sent Young Albert to deal with him."
Back at the Class 1-A dorms.
Aizawa was in Asui's room, no one else was around but him and Asui.
"So what did you wanna talk about?" Aizawa said he could tell something was weighing heavily on Asui.
"Um…" She made complex emotions as she picks up something off her desk. "Sensei this is a tracker." She holds it out.
"A tracker?" He looked and grabbed it.
"I… I gave Albert a charm with a tracker in it." She said ashamedly.
"Why?" he looked at his student with questions that needed answers.
"I… I overheard him talking with his father. They spoke in English, and I began to learn it after meeting and taking the U.A. entrance exam with Albert. I wanted to surprise him but…" She made a pained expression. "I didn't want to believe it, but I overheard him saying that his father wanted him to kill everyone at a warehouse and make it seem like it was the League of Villains. When I watched the news they reported just that."
"… Asui." Aizawa made a pained expression as well, he still couldn't believe her, after all he very much cared for his students, and Albert did more than earned his trusts.
"Yesterday he left and went to the location where Togata Senpai went to and he…" Her lips quivered and tears began to stream down her face. "I saw him… leave the place with Togata Senpai in his arms and he laid on the open field."
"Asui this is a very serious allegation." Aizawa didn't raise his voice but said it with great concern.
"T—The tracker has a feature where you can see where the person has traveled to."
Aizawa looked at the tracker and a piece of him didn't want him to see, he didn't want to know that one of his students possibly killed another fellow student. He couldn't live—stomach it if he killed—
'What am I thinking!?'
Such thoughts repulsed him. He gathered his courage and looked into the tracker. He pressed some buttons and he saw everywhere Albert had traveled. He was shocked when he saw just straight lines that go over cities. Even now he could see him moving about. He chalked it up either up to his father who is a military man or even Albert's Quirk… regardless this was very suspicious.
Asui was right however, he saw the dot remain at the location of Mirio's death before leaving and returning straight back to Albert's home and then back to the dorm.
"… How much battery does the tracker have left." He looked at Asui with a mix of emotions.
"Five more days." Asui responded.
"I will see for myself." He pockets the tracker. "I will look into this matter." His eyes held a sharpness to them, he was gonna get to the bottom of this.
"A-are you going to tell anyone?" Asui said, not wanting to make matters worse. Even though the love she had for Albert was stained she still did not want him to get into any more trouble. She spoke with Aizawa because she needed to tell someone, it was a burden she needed to get off her chest.
"No." He shook his head. "I will handle it. I assure you I will do my best to settle this is the most amicable manner I could."
Albert, after a while, returned home.
"Mel!" Albert shouted entering his home. "I'm home!"
Mélusine appeared quickly in the living room.
"Oh! Albert!" She said surprised. "Your home early from school!"
"It's been canceled, Mirio's death made the school gloomy. Anyway, is Kischur here or is he actually gone?"
"He's gone. I checked the whole place. Why do you ask?"
"I was hoping if he could make something for you so you would come off as human so no servant would detect you."
Mélusine remembered the gift Kischur gave her.
"I hate time magic bullshit." She murmured to herself. "Don't worry he gave it a Mystic Code in advance."
"Creepy." Albert said. "Do you think he knew what was gonna happen? Like even this conversation?"
"I wouldn't doubt it. Anyways what are you up to?"
"Well I was thinking of having you be my partner while I go undercover to try and join the League of Villains."
"Yes! Yes! YES!" She exclaimed boldly.
"Good, so do you have any abilities that aren't materializing blades?"
"I can breathe fire."
"Oh? I thought you can just shoot beams? I never actually seen—oh right." He remembered when they first met and how she started the fire. "You can breathe fire can't you?"
"It's not something I do or advertise, I am a knight!" A shinnying knight appeared behind her as she nobly proclaimed.
"Well now your gonna breathe fire as a Quirk."
"What about you?"
"I was thinking something along the lines of," He raised his hand, his fingers began to turn into sharp claws like a beast, of course this was just him returning his hands how they now normally look after ingesting Avenger's blood. "Beast Claws?"
"I have to say the claws of a Beast Candidate must be as fearsome as my own blades. Now the current blades that I can use now the blades I had when we first met."
Even without reinforcing his claws they can still easily cut through steel like Jello.
"Oh can't you make a tail! With your abilities I am sure you can make a tail!" She said excitedly.
"Uh… let me see." Albert quickly changed out of his clothes into something more comfortable. He returned back to the living room and began to test if he could make a tail.
'Huh?' While trying to make a tail he was met with a notification. 'This is new, I never got one that isn't a ding? Let's see.'
[To create a tail you first must let your body mutate further to make a tail. Do you wish to have a tail?]
"Yes." Albert said and another notification popped up.
[Are you sure?]
"Yeah?" Albert was now unsure if he wanted one now. But just then as he had some doubts his lower back sang with pain. "Agh!? Fuck me!"
Albert fell on his hands and knees in pain.
"Albert what's wrong!" Mélusine asked in concern.
"M—My lower back! Grr!!" Albert gritted his teeth, why was getting a tail so excruciating!? It was a pain that was on the cellular level that broke and rearranged the structure of his whole body.
[Ding! Monster Body, Albion's Skeleton, Dragon Heart, Monstruous Strength, Self-Modification, Swimming, and Poison Immunity ranked up!]
[Status and skill update!]
After a handful of minutes of his body rearranging itself Albert could finally stand on his two feet.
"Ahh… the absence of pain is so good."
"Ooh!" Mélusine was in awe looking at his tail. "It's so elegant and slender!" She touched the tail with only a tap.
"!" Albert was really sensitive. "Ah don't touch!"
Wack!
He accidentally struck Mélusine's hand.
"Ah sorry!" Albert apologized. "I am trying to get used to it."
Albert looked at his tail which was shaped similarly to Avenger's tail but more slender with purple and black scales.
"It's fine." Mélusine understood. "But it does pack a punch, I am sure if you reinforce it you could probably break the defenses of a castle with a fair amount of hits!"
"Let me see. <

'Huh? I never really addressed the locked skill? Hm. Must be related to me being a Beast Candidate. It revealed more letters now than last time.'
For now it was not something he was concerned with, after all he didn't know what it is, and he probably doesn't need it.
"Hm… let's see how I look like now." He undoes his Self-Modification and returns to his new natural appearance. "Mel, how do I look now?" He turned to her to see only starry eyes.
"Ooh!" She came up to him and touched him. "Your horns grew a bit more like branches, your scales are a glossy and beautiful shade of purple and black! Your eyes even have a clearer shade of grey! You look even more handsome! We will match so well!"
Mélusine loved her master all the more, mostly because she feels as if now they are more of a match now.
"Match? You don't have any other features?"
She glowed with a crimson hue, from her hair ornaments grew to form a sort of crown that were like a two-pronged spear, around her cheeks and both of her eyes are covered in a red and black texture that flowed a black hue. If one looked closely at the black texture one would see it is actually very small and compact dragon scales. From her lower back grew a thin, long, and slender red and black tail with the end of her tail had a dagger-like shape. Her fingers were also covered in red with sharp claws. Even her eyes were like Fire Opals, containing a fire to them.
As for Mélusine's clothing it changed to a more futuristic, cyber look. It was red with black accents skin-tight suit that showed skin that gave it seductive look to it like with Avenger.
"…Oh shit." Albert was agape, he never seen such a dangerous and beautiful creature in his life.
Thump-thump!
His inhuman heart skipped a beat, he was moved by her appearance.
"Hehe!" She made a charming but smug smile. "Impressive huh!"
"Very." He smiled and nodded making sure he remembers her appearance till the day he dies. "Ah, ahem!" He cleared his throat and looked away. "Could you tone it down? It will be hard to work looking at something so distracting."
"Thank you very much!"
The two would spend the afternoon going over and creating new identities and some gear with their roles in mind. Once finished on what they are going with they went and stole to begin their criminal career.
