Chapter 132 - Unique Fighting Style

Inside Room 104 of the Hero Association Apartments, Saitama was having tea with Mumen Rider.

Genos, wearing an apron, was cleaning the room like a housekeeper.

Ding-dong!

The doorbell rang.

"I wonder who it is."

Saitama opened the door, and three figures came into view.

"Who are you guys?"

"Are you the new hero who just moved in? We live right next door. Don't you know you're supposed to take the initiative to visit your seniors?"

A hip-hop youth wearing sunglasses spoke up dissatisfied, while the other two looked at Saitama with judgmental gazes.

"Master, is something the matter?" Genos walked out of the room, looking at the three visitors with a puzzled expression.

"An S-Class Hero! The Demon Cyborg, Genos!"

The three A-Class Heroes were startled, they hadn't expected Genos to be here, and he seemed to have just called Saitama 'Master'.

"It's nothing, just the neighbors coming by for a visit." Saitama said.

"That's good. We're out of groceries, so I'll head out and buy some now." Genos said.

"Alright. Come back soon. Speaking of which, I don't think today is a sale day." Saitama said.

He usually only went shopping on discount days.

"Mumen Rider? You're here too!"

The three heroes entered the room and immediately spotted Mumen Rider sipping tea.

"Oh, it's you guys. Long time no see." Mumen Rider gave a slight smile.

Although he was only C-Class, he had a very high reputation among the general public.

Furthermore, he had good relationships with A-Class Heroes, so most people in the Hero Association were quite familiar with him.

"Even if you say you're my neighbors, who exactly are you?" Saitama was curious about their identities.

After all, he rarely checked the Hero Association's official website.

"Honestly, you're being way too rude to your seniors."

"Resident of Room 101, A-Class Rank 36, Chain'n'toad."

"Resident of Room 102, A-Class Rank 16, Butterfly DX."

"Resident of Room 103, A-Class Rank 31, Heavy Kong."

The three introduced themselves and then curiously sized up the bald man before them.

"How old are you?" Heavy Kong asked.

"Twenty-five." Saitama answered expressionlessly.

"Older than me? But age doesn't matter here, I'm the senior who moved in first. Even if it was only two weeks earlier, a senior is still a senior."

"What were you thinking, moving in without greeting your neighbors or bringing over some snacks?" Heavy Kong criticized.

Even within the Hero Association, heroes were divided into factions. For instance, A-Class Heroes with average strength like them usually fought in groups and would occasionally recruit new blood.

"Sorry, I didn't know you lived next door. My name is Saitama. My house was destroyed recently, but I got promoted to A-Class. I moved here after being introduced by King."

Saitama smiled.

Since they were all heroes and neighbors, maybe he could crash their place for a meal in the future.

"King?"

Heavy Kong was startled inwardly but then forced himself to remain calm.

"Alright, as long as you understand."

"I'll have some tea first."

The A-Class Hero Chain'n'toad took off his toad mask, took a sip of tea, and put it back on.

"What's going on here?" Saitama had lines of frustration on his face.

Chain'n'toad was clearly a middle-aged man, so why did he insist on wearing a mask like that?

"Actually, as a martial artist, Chain'n'toad's strength is first-rate. But because he's too ordinary, he doesn't have much fame. He started wearing the mask for his public persona, and it seems he's gained some popularity among children." Butterfly DX explained.

"Wearing a mask because you're ordinary... that idea itself is pretty ordinary."

"As for me, I'm sure you've heard of me before—Butterfly DX. I moved here due to geographical factors."

"Sorry, never heard of you." Saitama waved his hand with an innocent expression.

"You haven't? I'm on TV all the time." Butterfly DX was shocked.

"But my house only gets public channels. For the past few years, I've only watched the weather forecast and disaster programs."

"Also, your body hair is quite thick. Don't let it fall in the room, it's hard to clean."

Saitama's words were a huge blow to Butterfly DX, who looked like he had lost all will to live.

"I'm Heavy Kong. I fight to the rhythm of music. Although I don't feel it myself, it seems young people think I'm cool and handsome, so I'm somewhat popular. I've even been on the cover of fashion magazines, but those are trivial things." Heavy Kong's expression was calm, but his tone still revealed his pride.

"Is it really necessary? To specifically follow a rhythm while fighting?" Saitama asked.

"Come outside, baldy! I'll show you what I'm made of!" Heavy Kong roared.

From the very beginning, he had been extremely dissatisfied with Saitama's indifferent attitude. Now that he dared to question his fighting style, he had to teach him a severe lesson.

"Then let's go somewhere more open. How about the parking lot?" The other two suggested.

Mumen Rider originally wanted to stop Heavy Kong, but seeing that Saitama didn't object, he remained silent.

...

In the spacious parking lot, Heavy Kong and Saitama stood in the center while the others watched from the side.

"You might get hurt, so don't hold a grudge against me later."

"Same to you. Don't pester me about becoming my disciple or anything after we're done."

Saitama couldn't help but think of Genos, having one disciple like him was already annoying enough.

"Hahaha! As a hero, it's good to have confidence. Someone who is always timid can't fight monsters." Butterfly DX laughed heartily, he was starting to find Saitama interesting.

"This is my first time seeing Heavy Kong fight. Looking down on his unique fighting style will lead to a painful lesson. After this battle, this kid should grow a bit." Chain'n'toad looked at the blank-faced Saitama and couldn't help but comment.

Beep!

Heavy Kong pressed play on his music player. The sound of dynamic music poured out, and his body began to vibrate along with it.

Swish...Swish...

Heavy Kong began to show off his unique dance moves, swaying incessantly on the spot.

"Here I come!"

Just as he was about to launch an attack, he noticed Saitama's mouth wide open as if he were saying something.

"What's wrong? It's too late to be scared now."

Heavy Kong took off his headphones, only to hear Saitama shouting loudly.

"Watch out! There's a car behind you!"

Bang!

Clatter!

Heavy Kong was sent flying. Two members of the Blizzard Group rushed out of the car to check.

"Someone was hit! Are you okay?"

"We were honking like crazy, why didn't you move?"

"It seems listening to music during a battle is dangerous. You guys were the ones who hit him, right? Make sure to apologize properly later, Fubuki."

Saitama turned and pointed at the approaching Fubuki, while the others hurried to check on Heavy Kong's injuries.

"Saitama, what are you doing here? Did you move here too?" Fubuki's eyes lit up.

After all, Saitama was a predetermined member of her New Blizzard Group.

"Of course, I'm the one who recommended he come here. Saitama, long time no see."

"You are? K-K... King?!"
