Information about CVD

Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is like a dangerous plumbing problem inside the body. Over years of stress and trauma, the arteries (the body's pipes) get clogged with hard, fatty gunk called plaque 🩸.

Heart medicines act like a security team keeping the body safe. If a person stops taking them, a scary chain reaction begins:

The Blood Gets Sticky: Without blood thinners, blood clumps together easily 🩸.

The Pressure Spikes: Without blood pressure pills, the heart pumps too violently, causing pounding headaches and dizziness 🤯.

The Pipes Break: The fatty gunk becomes brittle. One sudden scare or trauma flash-forward makes the plaque crack open!Instantly, a blood clot forms and completely blocks the pipe.

Blood and oxygen cannot reach the heart. The heart muscle begins to suffocate and die. This is a heart attack 💥.
