Far beyond the atmosphere of earth, two powerhouses landed on the surface of mars – Dante and Judas. The archbishop snaped his arm, shooting out multiple weapons. Dante retaliated, shattering the weapons with a flick of lightning. Judas shot forward, monster emerged from his shadow. Dante crossed his arms, catching the strike of a disfigured beasts taller than himself. He gripped its arm and threw it away.
He stomped his feet, splitting the ground in half. Judas flew up as the surface caved in. Dante flashed above him. His leg swung down. Another arm gripped his leg from his enemy's shadow and hurled him away. Dante landed and locked eyes with his adversary. The two shot at each other. Their clash devasted the planet's surface. Debris flew in the air as the two hurled attacks at each other. Judas grabbed Dante's arm and hurled him. He lunged at the supreme commander.
Dante blocked and molded a spear of lighting. He hurled it at the avatar. Another horrific monster took the blow. Dante clicked his tongue but he noticed something. Judas was panting – heavily. Just then, he remembered something.
'Of course, he's tired…'
He grappled the pope and lifted him to space. Judas pushed his adversary off and splattered blood on his eyes. As Dante tried to wipe it away, Judas's fist landed right on his stomach. He flew back and landed on Deimos. He tried to stand up but his enemy shouldered him right in the stomach. Deimos's surface cracked under the mighty avatar power. Dante gripped the pope's clothes and bent his feet.
He accelerated to the speed of light, escaping the man's grasp. Judas hung onto Dante, catching his breath. Dante shook him off as they arrived far from Mars. They clashed once more. Dante hurled a punch. Judas caught it and returned the attack. Dante's jaw took the blow. He twirled his body and kicked the pope's rib. Judas recoiled and another leg kicked the supreme commander away.
Lighting surged, searing the leg. It dissipated the next second. Dante unleashed a swarm of bolts at his adversary. Judas moved around, dodging all. Dante closed in and clasped his hands. The next moment, a massive EMP exploded, pushing the pope back. Judas staggered for a moment.
'It's time to end this…'
Dante thought in his mind. He lunged at Judas. Judas recovered quickly and assumed a fighting stance. They hurled a volley of combos at each other, ripping each other's clothes. The space around them began heating up, unable to spread the accumulating heat. After a few minutes, they could see the earth. Dante landed on Judas's torsos and pushed off. He slowed a few hundred meters away from the pope. He wound up his fist and shot forward at light speed.
Judas spawned multiple walls and monsters from his shadow. But even they couldn't stop Dante. He panicked and impulsively tried to step back. Dante furrowed his brows. Two small lightings raised Judas's arms.
'Physics says for an object to move at light speed, it would require infinite energy but… if an object at light speed comes to halt…'
Once he near Judas, he slowed and shot his fist forward. The spear of infinite energy landed on the pope's stomach. Multiple arms manifested, trying to block the strike to no avail. The energy with nowhere else to go sped forward. The blockade Judas made didn't just fail – it was completely erased. Judas gasped, his pupils dilating as the strike tore a hole in his chest. The avatar flew off, the space around him blazing with heat.
'It will produce infinite energy!'
Dante followed Judas, flying at light speeds. The pope grazed the surface of the moon, drilling through it. He entered the atmosphere and turned into a blazing ball of inferno. Dante too transformed into fire while entering the atmosphere. Judas tunneling through the electrified hat. The massive metal structure fell, crashing against the floor with a loud explosion. Judas's mask fell as he crashed. He panicked and quickly put it on before Dante arrived.
"So, you still wanna have a go at me." Dante tucked his hands into his pockets.
Judas smirked.
"I think you're forgetting something…the reason why we attacked in the first place."
Dante froze, remembering the invaders plan to summon a demon. He drew a sharp breath and lifted his head Beyond the Rush city; the sky flickered in and out reality as if it was about to break. He spun around. In the dust, he saw a strange humanoid shadow which stared at him. The figure had a menacing dark aura surrounding him that was comparable to the archbishops. He hand snapped forward; a bolt blasted at it but the shadow disappeared before he could do anything.
"Shit!" He clicked his tongue. "I totally forgot about that!"
"And that is also my time to go."
Dante snapped his head at Judas but the latter had already disappeared.
"Shit!" Dante shouted in panic.

Caesar rolled away from another attack. Sun clicked his tongue and chased after the fleeing Caesar.
"Come back here, ya old man!"
But Caesar had no intention of fighting Sun who was clearly stronger than him. He continued the run and dodged any hits. Finally, he heard an explosion in the distance. Caesar lifted his head, seeing the sky flickering in and out of existence. He suddenly stopped which made Sun stop as well.
"Well, kid. Looks like our fight is over."
Sun's face twisted.
"The hell you mean?"
From the shadows, Judas emerged and placed his hand Caesar's shoulder. Sun's eyes widened. His rushed forward. He swung his staff at the two to no avail. The two dissolved into darkness, leaving Sun behind in the ruins of Rush city.
"Fuck you!" Sun screamed.

Chris sat Octavius against the wall. He crossed his arms as Octavius caught his breath. From the sky, Dante and Sun descended. Their feet touched the floor of the arena. They neared Chris and noticed the archbishop tied up.
"It looks like you captured one." Dante neared Octavius.
"Did you capture Judas?" Chris asked.
"Nah, got too distracted fighting him. It also looks like they summoned the demon."
"Dammit…" Chris clicked his tongue.
"Didn't you try to stop the hat?" Dante asked. "I thought you could handle him."
"I would have but this guy's a Paragon on the pillar of nothing. I used chaos to place handcuffs on him. I was drained after – couldn't use my abilities for a while." Chris replied.
"What do you mean by Demon? Demons are real?" Sun interrupted, speaking in confusion.
"You wouldn't know." Chris replied in a raspy voice. "You were a newborn then."
Sun sneered at his master. Dante coughed, drawing the others attention.
"Should we take off his mask?" he inquired.
"Of course." Chris opened his palm.
Dante nodded and approached Octavius. He grasped the bottom of the mask and pulled it out. Both supreme commanders froze in shock. Sun raised a brow.
"Who is this old dude?"
The true Octavius had fuzzy brown hair, azure blue eyes and a smooth beard. The dwarf smiled at the two supreme commanders.
"Greetings." He smirked in an odd manner.
Dante's eyes twitched. The mask slipped from his fingers as he uttered one name.
"Kedith…Octavian?"
