The next day…
In Missio's room, Eira watched in a daze as her friend tried to feed their captain a spoonful of food.
"Come on, Missio. Here comes the chu-chu train…" Mary tapped the utensil against his cheek.
Only after three tries did she succeed in feeding Missio.
Mary sighed, resting her hand as she contemplated this dilemma.
Mary had always liked helping people. Ever since she was a child, she always took the opportunity to help others whether it be her mother in doing chores, getting her father's glasses or helping her friends with their homework.
However, nursing Missio felt like trying to hold sunlight in her hands.
Missio himself had completely changed. He had become isolated – distant even. Mary thought she had not even heard a whisper from him ever since their last mission.
It felt as if… Missio had given up.
The Bereft was eating breakfast like a child but with the movements of an old man. He would eat – stall and then eat again as if his mind was blanking each second he munched.
Right then, Henry entered the room alongside Krishna. Krishna held up his phone, getting the attention of Eira and Mary.
"John says he can fly us out." Krishna groaned.
"That's great. When are we leaving?" Eira inquired.
"Right now." Krishna stated, tucking his phone into his pocket. "Time to pack our bags."
"What bags do we have to pack?" Henry scoffed.
Krishna paused and looked at his friend. Then, a realization struck him as his palm met his face.
"Right… we don't have any."
Clasping his hands, he drew the attention of his mates.
"Alright, let's get Missio discharged first."
Mary stood up, placing Missio's food on the overhead table.
"And how do you suppose we do that? The Hospital won't let him go when he's in a condition like this."
Krishna spread his arm to the side.
"I dunno… Let's just try. If that doesn't work, we can figure it out from there."

A few minutes later…
Krishna and Henry walked through the cold corridor of the hospital. The sound of the rain pouring upon this dark land made them feel a sense of peace and tranquility.
Maybe that was why so many people still chose to live in Ashland even with its endless rain.
The quiet atmosphere and oddly peaceful ambience was quite attractive for those living in a broken world such as this one.
However, this was only a temporary escape. Even this supposed haven was not safe from the wrath of Chaos.
Eventually, the duo arrived at the doctor's office.
Krishna gripped the doorknob and twisted it open. As the door swung open, he saw the doctor sitting leisurely while examining the contents of a folder.
"Uh… doc?"
The doctor glanced up as he heard Krishna's voice. Then, raising his brows, he waved his hand.
"Come in. Come in."
The duo entered the office, closing the door behind them. They halted near the desk, locking eyes with the doctor.
"We'd like to talk about Missio's discharge." Henry stated.
"Yeah, I can do that. You want him discharged now or later?" The doctor responded, placing the folder on his desk.
Henry froze and so did Krishna. The two glanced at each other for a moment before looking back at the doctor.
"…Aren't you supposed to do a check up on him?" Henry adjusted his glasses.
The doctor nodded.
"Usually, yes. However, Sir Christopher told me to discharge him as soon as possible."
"Christopher?" Krishna blurted. "But he can't do that."
"He can't." The doctor confirmed. "However, this whole situation is a headache and honestly, I think the best decision would be for him to return home and meet up with his therapist. We've done all we can for this physical needs but we've decided that his mental health would be better left for his own therapist."
The room fell in an awkward silence for a few seconds. Krishna and Henry contemplated the doctor's words for a few moments – baffled.
"So, you discharge him now?" Henry asked again.
"Yes, we've prepared everything."
The doctor opened the folder he had placed on the desk and flipped over to the last page. Then, he grabbed a pen and pushed the folder towards Krishna.
"Just sign here to confirm you received your discharge instructions. Then, you can leave."
Krishna paused for a moment, staring at the document in front of him.
"Alright…" He sighed heavily.
Taking the pen from the doctor's hand, he turned the page towards himself and jotted down his signature. Then, he shut the folder and returned the pen.
The doctor then, spoke in an even tone.
"You're all good now. Take the paperwork and have a safe journey."
Henry picked up the folder.
"Thank you."
The doctor leaned back, waving his hand as the two enforcers left his office.
"No problem. Keep your friend safe."
Henry closed the door and the moment he did, a deafening silence took over the hallway. He heaved a sigh of relief and looked towards his coworker.
"…Let's go."
Krishna nodded and began marching back to Missio's room. Henry walked beside him, their footsteps echoing through the dimly lit hallway.
Eventually, they arrived at Missio's once more and entered. The moment they stepped inside, Eira and Mary's faces filled with surprise, confusion stirring within their gem-like pupils.
"That was quick." Eira commented.
"Yeah…" Krishna held up the folder. "They have been waiting for a long time for us to leave."
"…Well, isn't that somewhat rude?" Mary blurted.
"We can't say that." Henry shrugged.
Mary shut her mouth, agreeing with what Henry had pointed out. With a heavy sigh, she lowered her head and stared at the floor for a bit. Then, with a lazy expression, she lifted her head.
"Let's get going then."
