The training ground was deathly silent except for the ragged breathing of the four crippled heroes.
Feng slowly put the Cosmic Trident Spear back into his Storage Bag. The purple lightning faded as the weapon disappeared. He drew only the Adamantite dagger, its black blade still dripping with blood.
He walked toward the four heroes lying on the ground, their legs severed, bodies broken. He stopped beside them, looking up at the sky with cold, burning eyes.
His voice rang out loud and clear, filled with raw hatred:
"You damn Goddess… you're next."
He knelt beside the golden-haired leader first. The hero's eyes widened in terror as Feng pressed the edge of the dagger against his throat.
Slowly, deliberately, Feng slid the blade across the skin, cutting just deep enough to cause maximum pain without killing him instantly. The hero screamed, body convulsing as blood welled up.
One by one, Feng did the same to the other three heroes — torturing them with slow, precise cuts, letting them feel every second of agony. Their screams echoed across the training ground while everyone watched in stunned horror. No one moved to stop him.
When he was done, Feng stood up, breathing steadily. He walked back to where Lina lay and gently picked up the small, lifeless bodies of Suki and Shihao. He carried them to her, placing them carefully in her arms.
Lina hugged their children tightly, sobbing brokenly.
Feng leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"Hold them," he whispered. "I'll be right back."
In the next instant, he vanished.
He reappeared directly in front of the hidden spy who had been projecting the scene. His hand shot out and grabbed the spy by the throat, lifting him effortlessly off the ground.
"Who sent you?" Feng asked, voice ice-cold. "Was it the King? The Goddess?"
The spy struggled, choking, his eyes wide with fear. While the Octagram watched through the orb, the spy gasped out:
"I… I don't have anything to do with them! Please believe me! I'm from the other side… sent by the Demon Lords. We mean you no harm…"
He didn't reveal their names.
Feng's grip tightened slightly, his eyes narrowing.
The Octagram continued watching in silence.
