So the story continues...
His phone suddenly started ringing. Without another word, he picked up the call and stepped out of her room, walking straight into his own.
The call connected, and a familiar voice spoke from the other end, slightly tense.
"Sir… Mr. Malhotra and Mr. Oberoi are here at the office to meet you. Should I send them to the mansion?"
Shivansh stood by the window, his expression cold and unreadable, the silence stretching for a moment before he replied…
His eyes darkened slightly as he spoke, his voice calm but carrying an unspoken authority.
"Send them," he said, pausing for a second before adding, "and find out everything about her… her background, her real identity."
There was a brief silence on the other end before the P.A. responded,
"Yes, sir."
Without another word, Shivansh ended the call, his mind already occupied with the mystery surrounding her.
Meanwhile another side --
She sat on the bed, her fingers clutching the bedsheet as her thoughts raced. Everything felt unreal. Her mind kept replaying his face, his voice… his presence.
She knew him.
Not personally… but by reputation.
Shivansh Rathore.
A name feared in the underworld… and respected in the business world.
A mafia king.
A ruthless business tycoon.
She looked around anxiously, her brows furrowing. "Where is my phone? How am I supposed to call them?" she asked, her voice carrying a hint of urgency.
After a moment, her expression changed as realization hit her. "Maybe… my phone was lost in the water," she said softly, recalling the accident.
At that moment, Shivansh stepped into the room, his presence instantly commanding attention. His sharp eyes fell on her as he asked, "What happened?
She hesitated for a moment before looking at him and asking softly, "Can I use your phone… to call my friends?"
He looked at her for a moment before replying in a cold, detached voice, "Yes… and you should leave once you recover."
Adya met his gaze without fear.
"I will… when I decide."
For a moment—silence.
Their eyes locked.
Neither of them looked away.
Shivansh's expression darkened slightly.
Interesting.
No fear.
No hesitation.
That only made her more suspicious.
When he existed her room
Outside the room
The call connected, and a familiar voice spoke from the other end, slightly tense
"Sir… we checked her background."
Shivansh didn't turn.
"And?"
Then—
"There's… nothing, sir."
A pause.
"But… there's one unexpected detail."
Shivansh's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Speak."
"She's the daughter of Mr. Singh… your father's business partner." ⚡
Silence.
Shivansh's eyes darkened.
Impossible.
No one had "nothing."
He spoke slowly, his voice low and dangerous:
"She's hiding something…"
A slight smirk appeared on his face.
"And I will find out what." ⚡🖤
"To be continued…" 🖤
"Next chapter coming tomorrow."
