I had just stepped out of the shower after an intense gym session and way too much drinking. My body felt exhausted, but my mind refused to rest. I grabbed my phone and sat on the edge of my bed.
I was thinking about texting Jay Jay. It had taken me forever to convince Percy to give me her number, and now that I finally had it, I couldn't stop staring at her contact. I was just about to type a message when another notification suddenly popped up.
FROM : 636*************
MESSAGE : Every gang in the area is on heat. Keep your girlfriend safe.**
A second message followed immediately.
FROM : 636*************
MESSAGE : And FYI, your girlfriend has already taken down Alphabet Gang and Black Jackets.**
Tss...
Of course she did. She's my girlfriend, after all.
Ah—

By the time the sun started rising, I had finally made my decision.

And I wouldn't do it alone. I knew Section E was angry at me. They had every right to be. But I also knew something else. When it came to Jay Jay... They would do anything.
Because no matter what happened between us she was still their family. Their friend. Their sister. And our most important person.
A cold smile appeared on my face. The gangs wanted to come after my girl? Fine. Let them try.
Because before I left this country... I would make sure there was no one left standing who dared to threaten her. Not a single one.
