John spoke calmly.
"Does Tarlon actually have a rule like that?"
"Why haven't I heard of it?"
The guard froze for a moment.
There really was no such rule.
But John's response suddenly made him difficult to read.
Some instinct told the guard that there was something dangerous about this man.
He impatiently waved his hand.
"Since you have so much to say, go familiarize yourself with the rules first."
"Then register."
"Next!"
Yet John remained exactly where he was.
He didn't move an inch.
The guard frowned.
"What are you still standing here for?"
"Get lost!"
John replied indifferently,
"I understand your rules."
"But you don't seem to understand mine."
The guard immediately sneered.
"What?"
"Your rules?"
"You're nothing more than a High God, yet you dare stand here and lecture me about rules?"
"Is there something wrong with your head?"
"Get the hell out of my way!"
"I don't have time to stand here listening to your nonsense!"
