John's eyes flickered at her words.
Although her explanation had been somewhat vague, he understood the general meaning.
After three hundred years of selection and tempering, the surviving players of her generation had all reached the level cap of their world and obtained immortality.
However, advancing any further was impossible. Their levels had been completely locked, leaving them unable to break through the restriction.
They did not even have a path to becoming gods.
Curious, John asked, "Approximately how strong are people at your world's level cap?"
Odelle answered truthfully, "Almost everyone can split mountains and carve open roads with a casual strike. Flying through the skies and burrowing through the earth are nothing extraordinary to us.
"If measured by ordinary standards of combat power, we players are practically invincible gods in the mortal realm of Hess Continent."
