After the crowd of players dispersed,
John headed toward Novice Village.
Once the mission had ended, the invisible barrier around Novice Village had already been lifted.
Players could now enter and leave freely.
The moment he stepped into the village, he was greeted with an even grander welcome ceremony than before.
All of the female NPCs had changed out of their combat gear and into gorgeous formal dresses.
Each of them carried a basket of flowers, and as soon as John entered the village, they tossed them high into the air in unison.
A rain of petals fell from above, carrying the fragrance of victory.
The female knight approached in a long crimson gown, holding up a goblet of wine in celebration.
"Great hero, it is because of you that our village survived.
Please drink this cup of wine and celebrate the victory of this war with us!"
John raised the goblet. "To victory."
Then he drained it in one gulp.
Warm applause immediately erupted all around him.
