Fortunately, the pavilion reopened in less than twelve hours. Nixon immediately took advantage of the spatial fluctuations and activated the teleportation array he had secretly placed on Reinhard's chest. Once the entrance to Selene's pavilion was fully opened, Reinhard was no longer inside her room. As a result, the Grand Mage would have no way of realizing that he was no longer with Selene.
Just as Selene was preparing to leave her pavilion, she suddenly sensed a massive spatial fluctuation. The next moment, Marie appeared, followed by an unfamiliar senior mage.
"Selene?"
"Marie?" Selene blinked in surprise. "Why are you here?"
"I have no idea. I was about to leave my pavilion, but somehow I ended up here instead. Is this yours?"
"What time is it now?"
"Eight o'clock. Why?"
