Upon seeing this, Neal Wallace was about to retract his superpower when he heard Flora say, "Don't stop. Keep burning it until this shield disappears."
He didn't understand Flora's intentions, but because he trusted her, he continued to release flames, scorching the Water Element shield that enveloped her.
