The Gold Ant gave an elegant, shallow bow. "Thank you for your hospitality. You're quite impressive. I look forward to our reunion on Raloa Island."
With that, it flew away.
After The Gold Ant vanished, the Fire Ants retreated the way they came, even filling in the hole for Renee Kane.
Renee Kane stared in the direction The Gold Ant had disappeared, silent for a long moment, before finally going to retrieve the Diamond Treasure Chest.
'What kind of place is this Raloa Island the Gold Ant mentioned? And what connection do creatures like it have to these doomsday trains…?'
Renee Kane didn't know, but she couldn't help but wonder if this so-called "Raloa Island" was the final destination of the trains.
'The Gold Ant said that Ceruleans were too weak. So, are these brutally difficult instances meant to be a crucible, a way to filter out people until only those deemed worthy of entering Raloa Island remain?'
No one could give her an answer.
