I really didn't expect to run into someone I "knew" from a long, long time ago here.
It was the Island Master of Island #1157.
The short, stout man's face was flushed from being scolded, but he seemed completely helpless. After all, Faye Yardley hadn't heard him retort with anything other than sputtering "you, you, you."
The only reason Faye Yardley knew of the Island Master of #1157 was because she had once fished up a letter specifically addressed to him with a special fishing rod.
'Of course, the letter isn't on me right now. Besides, he looks seriously pissed off. If I just run up to him and mention a letter addressed to him, he'll definitely find my motives suspicious.'
So, Faye Yardley stayed curled up on the sofa, not moving a muscle, hoping he would leave soon.
But unexpectedly, he sat right down in the armchair next to Faye Yardley. He looked surprised when he saw her—he probably hadn't expected anyone to be curled up over here.
