It had to be said, running inside the barrier of the Water-Repelling Pearl was very different from running on solid ground. The biggest difference was the lack of firm footing. Faye felt that at this speed, she would have covered this distance long ago on land.
But here in the sea, she was just slogging through.
The more anxious she became, the slower she felt she was moving, while the black shadow seemed to be rising terrifyingly fast.
Just as Faye Yardley reached the edge of her raft, the black shadow completely engulfed her.
The moment she was swallowed, Faye Yardley actually calmed down, not panicking at all.
