"What happened?"
The superpower user standing outside looked frantic. "The last squad sent out on a mission only had one survivor return. He said they encountered two incredibly powerful evolved zombies that devoured their entire six-person team. He was the only one lucky enough to escape."
He continued, speaking quickly, "The leadership held a meeting and decided to dispatch a large number of superpower users to hunt them down. If we don't, they'll threaten everyone in the safe zone."
Lucas Lockwood quickly nodded once he understood the situation. "Got it. Go gather the team. I'll be there in a minute."
The team member left. Lucas Lockwood closed the door, his expression grim.
'Devouring six superpower users... these are definitely not ordinary evolved zombies. Maybe they have unique abilities, or perhaps they've evolved to a higher level.'
"Cece, I have to go..."
"Mm, I heard. You should go."
