Silas Hawthorne gave her a cool glance before one of the soldiers on the team couldn't help but complain, "The situation is unclear. How are we supposed to move out?"

Sue Lawrence blinked and said calmly, "There are people in both the left and right corridors. One is hiding in the shadows under the stairs, and another is in the storage room at the end of the hall. Not all the rooms along the corridor are occupied, but there are quite a few people in the morgue. There's also a group gathered in the dining hall. So... can we go now?"
For a moment, everyone fell silent.
High-tech robots were certainly useful, but in a place with no signal, even the most advanced models were flying blind. In this situation, it was obvious that a person was more useful.
In front of the screen, Miles Finch was utterly silent.
He was at once shocked and frustrated.
