Aidan returned to his room. After Delta and Liliya were reunited, at least in her heart, her favorability toward Aidan was surely maxed out. If that were the case, Aidan could order Delta around whenever he wanted...
Is it just ordering her around (disappointed).
"No, what do you two mean by this?"
"From today on, my life belongs to you."
Delta said with a serious expression.
"I... well, my thoughts are the same as Rozaliya's."
Liliya nodded slightly.
"I know what you two mean, so can you both get off my bed? Otherwise, how am I supposed to sleep?"
Don't occupy my respawn point, dammit!
This bed was Aidan's death respawn point. He wasn't sure where he would respawn if his spawn point got stuck in the model.
"You two, get down."
"No." Delta hugged his pillow tightly. "From today on, I'm sleeping here."
"Me too." Liliya nodded.
"This is my bed!"
"We know."
"Have you ever considered that when I wake up tomorrow morning, I might turn into a dragon, or a bug, or a mass of black holes?"
"We've thought about it." Delta nodded. "That's why we need to watch over you. In case you turn into something strange, we can help handle it."
"Are you sure you're helping handle 'it' and not handling 'me'?"
"It's fine, even if the Captain likes both of us, there's no problem at all! Liliya and I are already prepared to spend the rest of our lives with you!"
Liliya also nodded.
"What kind of weird preparation have you made, hey! Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, and even Zenless Zone Zero aren't like this at all! It should be me helping you first, then you gradually turning from a guarded tsundere into a'saying no but meaning yes' tsundere, then building feelings through daily interactions to raise favorability, and slowly, at an atmospheric moment, releasing a beautiful but actually lazy, workload-reducing story CG!"
Aidan gestured wildly with his hands.
"How can you just bring Liliya and confess that you like me? The Honkai world isn't like this at all. I don't accept it."
Delta and Liliya glanced at each other, then looked back at him.
"I don't know what all that nonsense you're saying means. I only know that you saved Liliya and gave her back to me. I owe such a huge debt of gratitude that I must repay it with my life. Now my life is yours, so naturally, I am yours too."
Liliya sat next to Delta, echoing her sister's words.
"Rozaliya said the Captain is a good person, so I want to try staying with you too."
"That kind of thing is not allowed!"
Aidan's bedroom door was pushed open.
Entering was the clear-eyed heroine, March 7th.
Wow!
March, my hero!
Liliya tilted her head and spoke expressionlessly: "So, does this mean... you're also here to snatch him?"
"What snatching! This lady is here to uphold justice!"
But as if the scene wasn't chaotic enough, an evil grey-haired girl entered from the doorway.
"Aidan!"
Stelle showed none of the reserve of a young girl, directly reaching out her arm to hook around Aidan's neck.
"How about coming to my room to sleep today? Just like last time!"
March 7th's brain short-circuited for a moment, then she realized what Stelle was talking about—it was that time Stelle slept in Aidan's room and dragged him along for a nap.
"Anyway, no matter what, we have the friendship of having shared a bed for a nap. Want to sleep together tonight?"
"Not going." Aidan refused decisively.
In the end, Aidan slept in the Data Bank, resting with Dan Heng.
The four girls bickered for about half a system hour before realizing Aidan was gone.
Dan Heng: Ho ho, there's even a love triangle drama to watch.
"This must be Aha's evil plot, otherwise how could this happen," Aidan said indignantly to Dan Heng while lying on a floor mat. "Truly a naturally evil old geezer of Elation—Delta and Liliya suddenly wanting to repay a debt, March 7th rushing in for no reason, Stelle joining the fray—don't you think it's too coincidental?"
Dan Heng turned his head to look at him.
"You think Aha is behind this?"
"I just hung a 'No Entry' sign for Him today." Aidan rolled over, pointing his finger at the air. "With His personality, how could He not cause trouble?"
"...What you're saying actually makes some sense."
After a while, Dan Heng suddenly sat up.
"That sign at your door, it has Aha's mask drawn on it, right?"
"Yeah."
"...What kind of pen did you use to draw it?"
"A ballpoint pen and a black marker."
"Then why do I remember the sign hanging on your door having a red mask on it?"
Aidan's expression froze.
"What did you say?"
"I said, on the sign hanging at your door, there's a red mask drawn on it," Dan Heng repeated, his gaze falling on Aidan's face. "Didn't you draw it?"
Aidan sat up from the floor mat, frowning as he recalled.
"I drew it in black and white. Outlined with a ballpoint pen and colored with a black marker. How could it turn red?"
The two looked at each other.
"Since you're so sure it's Aha's doing, why don't you take the sign down and throw it out?"
"No, I was just venting my emotions earlier. I didn't actually know Aha did it."
The two fell into deep thought.
Aidan stared at the dark ceiling of the Data Bank, feeling creeped out.
The two of them tiptoed out of the Data Bank like thieves, creeping along the corridor toward Aidan's room.
"Where are you two going?"
March 7th's eerie voice rang out from behind them, making Aidan shiver.
"Senior March, don't scare me. I'm easily frightened. If you scare me, I'll start sweating buckets and turn into a pressure cooker, the kind with massive pressure."
"You haven't called me'Senior' for several days now—hmm?"
March 7th was angry, and it was clearly visible.
"Senior March!" Aidan immediately put on a sycophantic smile. "How could I ever forget to call you'Senior'? I was just—I was just—"
"Just what? These past few days, you've been calling me 'March' quite smoothly. Why did you suddenly go back to'Senior March' today when you have a guilty conscience? Do you think this lady is easy to fool?"
"How could I?" Aidan waved his hands hurriedly, his steps unconsciously retreating. "A senior is a senior. It's an honorific, a mark of respect from the heart. Usually, it's to close the distance; now, it's to show a proper attitude."
Delta and Liliya also followed them out, one with arms crossed and the other expressionless, but both their gazes were locked onto him.
