Perhaps because she was feeling a bit emotional, Holly Wyatt ate quickly.
She pulled out a napkin, and Silas Thornton, quick as a flash, started packing up the insulated food container on the table.
Holly Wyatt's eyes flickered. She then gathered the scattered design sketches from the table and stood up.
'Ah! Damn it! The design sketches! How could I have forgotten!?'
"Wait!" Silas Thornton called out, his eyes fixed on the sketches in Holly Wyatt's hands.
Holly Wyatt tossed the used napkin into the trash can, tilting her head and looking down at him in confusion.
'Aah!! I forgot to say the most important thing!! How did my cub get involved in Scott Sterling's project!?'
Holly Wyatt's grip on the design sketches tightened, and she stared intently at Silas Thornton.
"I was upstairs just now and saw the revised contract from Scott Sterling. Your name was listed under Design Assistant," Silas Thornton said tentatively, carefully observing Holly Wyatt's expression.
