Just as Silas Thornton was about to speak, Holly Wyatt quickly pressed down on the documents in front of him, messing them up to draw his attention to her.
'Huh?! What's the cub up to?! Is she going to climb on the table to show how unhappy she is!? Is she going to be like a little wolf cub and raise the roof? I've never seen that before! I want to see! Ooh! This is a little exciting!!'
Holly Wyatt froze, her eyes fixed on Silas Thornton's intense, dark gaze. Then, she noticed his wolf ears twitching with excitement, and her body went rigid for a second.
She glanced down at her own posture. The upper half of her body was splayed across the desk, one hand planted in front of Silas Thornton as she stared down at him. Despite her small frame, her presence was imposing.
She was a little surprised at herself for acting like that; it was something she had never done before.
