Holly Wyatt leaned against the sink, her face flushed as she stared at her reflection. Her eyes couldn't help but drift down to the front of her clothes.
Water from the sink had soaked the fabric over her stomach, washing away the mark Silas Thornton had left.
She paused, then quickly turned on the faucet, cupped a handful of cold water, and splashed it on her face.
After the heat coursing through her body finally subsided, she stared at herself in the mirror, her gaze landing on the bite mark on her collarbone.
It wasn't like a bite from a normal human. The two sides were noticeably deeper, the mark of a wolf's sharp canines. The skin was slightly broken and the surrounding area was a little red and swollen. Silas Thornton had just licked the blood clean.
Holly Wyatt felt the heat rise to her face all over again.
She turned on the shower, stripped off her clothes, and began to wash.
'It's so late. I can't possibly sleep in these clothes, can I?'
