Chu Jing said casually, "I haven't tried them on. Once you're done making them, just send them to the front courtyard." With that, he stood up.
Seeing that he was about to leave, Lin Zhi stood up to see him out, despite the barrage of complaints in her head. "Rest assured, Husband. I will have a maid deliver them tomorrow." However, she definitely wouldn't sew them herself.
She followed closely behind him to the door. Unexpectedly, Chu Jing suddenly turned around, and she crashed headfirst into his chest before she could react.
Their eyes met. Lin Zhi's gaze flickered. Without releasing her grip on the fabric of his robes, she bit her lip, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "Husband... can you stay tonight? I'm scared of being alone."
Since he was already here, he might as well stay. Besides, she needed to cure his habit of only visiting her bedchamber on the first and fifteenth of every month.
