And so, in the time that followed, Lin Yu's legion tore across the Beastman Continent, conquering cities and engaging in a massive slaughter.
His army quickly became infamous among the Beastmen. Whenever the Beastman Lords spotted his forces, they would attempt a few counterattacks. But once they identified his unit types, they would abandon their cities and flee.
However, this led to a problem. Although Lin Yu had gathered all the Free Territory Hearts he needed less than two months after starting his offensive, the number of Beastman Lords he'd killed wasn't increasing, and his Lord level was rising very slowly.
These Beastman Lords were not as strong as him, but every one of them was well-versed in the art of self-preservation.
They were nearly impossible to find in the wild, as they mostly hid within the cities of their territories. But the moment a siege began, if they realized they couldn't defeat the attackers, they would take their subordinates and flee the city.
