Wave 41 of the Tower of Slaughter didn't feature Epic Tier monsters. Instead, it reverted to Excellent Tier wild boars. The boars were now level 20, and there were 20 of them.
All in all, the overall strength of the monsters had actually decreased.
However, starting from Wave 41, a Square Crystal Pillar appeared behind him. The monsters' target was now the Square Crystal Pillar, not him.
This meant Yuan Xiaobo could no longer rely on his high defense to attack the monsters at will.
He had to constantly keep an eye on the Square Crystal Pillar's safety. While it wouldn't shatter from a single touch, it could only withstand 100 hits. Against a fast-attacking enemy, it could be destroyed in a matter of seconds.
