Wood frowned and looked up to see a massive bronze pot. From his angle, it was all he could see, and he caught a whiff of a strange smell.
Wood ignored it and continued to climb. He could have just scaled the wall in a single rush, but if he did, he'd be without his comrades and easily overwhelmed.
Besides, if he rushed ahead and got trapped without securing a path forward, the Soldiers following him would be in dire straits.
Just as Wood was climbing, the golden pot... tipped over.
"Whoa! What is this stuff?"
"It stinks! What is this?!"
Due to inertia, the liquid from the pot didn't hit Wood. Instead, it all splashed down onto the Extraordinary Soldiers below.
By the looks of it, the scalding temperature of the golden liquid wasn't enough to harm the Extraordinary Soldiers. This was just as Robson had expected; after all, even the weakest Extraordinary was still Extraordinary.
