The reason Lin Feng made such a connection was primarily because he had unexpectedly heard He Yiwen's voice on two occasions while falling into the Abyss within his own Spirit World...
It was just like the voice from Zhang Tianming that came through the earpiece, as if it were from another world.
The voice had a somewhat ethereal quality, unlike anything a physical Life Form could produce. It was as if it had traversed space and time to suddenly surface in Lin Feng's mind.
This aligned with the answer the Six Realms Peak Spine God had given him in the Spirit World: Lin Feng's mother, He Yiwen, was truly dead, and there was no way to bring her back.
Her consciousness had already merged with the void beneath the material Cosmos, becoming a particle Energy Body that existed across all of space and time.
