The face began to twist horribly. The resulting expression was something no normal person could make—more terrifying and grotesque than any grimace. Its features looked as if they had been thrown into a blender, pulverized, and then haphazardly reassembled.
Before long, it was completely assimilated. A red outer shell formed over the head, which became just another tumorous growth on the monster's body.
