Seraphina's eyes widened slightly, a look of utter disbelief dancing within them.
She stared blankly at Cian for a moment. "Pregnant? I'm not pregnant..."
She had suspected she was pregnant before, so she'd specifically gone to the hospital for a check-up.
At the time, the test results had come back negative.
But Cian had flown all the way from Kingsland to find her and had brought this up specifically.
So, as Seraphina refuted Cian's words, her confidence suddenly faltered.
But Damian had stressed to her, time and again, that he'd had a vasectomy.
Logically, she shouldn't be doubting Damian.
With that in mind, Seraphina spoke again, her tone firm and certain.
"Don't you think I'd know whether I'm pregnant or not? Besides, if I were, it would have nothing to do with you..."
Cian grabbed her by the chin, his grip preventing her from closing her mouth properly and cutting off the rest of her sentence.
