No one knew what they discussed, but it was clear that when Liu Jingjing left her meeting with Lin Ya, she was happy, yet lost in thought.
Before Lin Ya returned to Jiangzhou from Luocheng, she sent Chen Xiao a message.
"Boss, clear out Bambury first. Don't make a move on the others yet, to avoid tipping them off!"
"Liu Jingjing will help me gather evidence. After the Spring Festival, once the fish take the bait, we'll round them all up!"
A moment later, Chen Xiao replied: "Go ahead."
On this visit, Lin Ya had focused solely on investigating the fraudulent redemption of subsidy vouchers. She hadn't even mentioned the issue of using the mall's shops for personal gain. She wanted the people at the square to think she was completely unaware of that scheme so they would continue their illicit activities.
When the time came, she would seize the evidence and round them all up!
