Ma Jing was annoyed right now, too.
She had gone to the small cafeteria to arrange Chen Xiao's lunch.
There, she happened to run into Business Director Li Hui, who was taking a client out for a meal.
Since he was technically her superior, she greeted him.
It should have been a simple pleasantry, but just as she finished making the arrangements, Li Hui stepped out of his private dining room and called out to her.
"President Li!"
Li Hui looked troubled. "Ma Jing, I need you to do me a favor."
He was being surprisingly deferential. After all, Ma Jing was still technically part of his business department. For him to lower himself like this was a rare gesture.
He was far more tactful than that Hou Fei fellow.
"Go on, President Li," she said.
"I'm in talks with a major client over here, and I'm treating him to lunch. It's a bit quiet with just a few of us, so when he saw you just now, he invited you to join us. You have to eat lunch anyway, right?"
