The elevator reached the first floor, and Gao Yue said goodbye to Chen Xiao.
Chen Xiao asked in surprise, "Is your car parked on the street?"
"I don't have a car. I'm taking a taxi!"
Only then did Chen Xiao remember that Gao Yue's previous company car was from Jindi Group. She had just started her position at the Junxiao Hotel Management Division and hadn't been assigned a car yet.
The general managers of the two existing hotels each had a Buick GL8, but those were men's cars, and she didn't want to ride in them since they reeked of smoke.
That's why she had taken a taxi to get here today.
She used to have a Volkswagen, but after Ding Yong assigned her a private car and driver, she didn't need her own anymore and sold it to a used car dealership.
"You're so dense. Doesn't the hotel have a concierge car? You could have just used that."
