"Brother Chen Xiao, I'm bringing Zhang Hui over to say hi!"
'Zhang Hui?' Chen Xiao guessed she was probably the new assistant the company had hired for the sales department.
And he was right. It was her first day, and Ma Jing had just gotten back from taking her around to meet everyone in the different departments.
Chen Xiao had come in late, so this was his first chance to meet her.
He was always good to newcomers, so he stood up politely and said, "Welcome aboard. I'm Chen Xiao."
Zhang Hui was plain-looking and seemed very earnest. Chen Xiao could tell at a glance that she was a good fit to be Ma Jing's assistant.
She lowered her voice, a little shyly. "Hello, Chen Xiao. I'm Zhang Hui. I hope you'll show me the ropes."
Ma Jing smiled and said, "You have to call him Brother Chen Xiao, or he won't look out for you!"
Chen Xiao said, "Don't listen to her nonsense. Just focus on learning from Ma Jing."
