Upon entering the room, they saw Su Chen sitting leisurely on the sofa, sipping tea.
"Boss."
Chen Fei led the two team leaders to Su Chen's side and addressed him respectfully.
"Mm," Su Chen nodded slightly. His gaze fell upon the two men behind Chen Fei. He even recognized one of them—the very captain who had stopped him on his first visit to the park.
He gestured for the three of them to sit. Su Chen had no interest in talking to people while craning his neck.
"Which of you will be staying behind in Shanghai? I trust Chen Fei has already briefed you," Su Chen asked.
"Boss, that would be me. Xue Yi, captain of the Fifth Reserve Squad. We've been fully briefed on the situation."
The sturdy man who had just taken a seat shot back to his feet, his expression solemn as he spoke.
Su Chen was momentarily taken aback by Xue Yi's abruptness, but seeing his confident expression, he simply smiled and nodded.
"Chen Fei, where are the others?"
