"What's all this?"
As soon as he returned to the guesthouse, he saw a line of people standing at the entrance, each one carrying something.
Su Chen glanced over and saw they were all carrying nutritional supplements—things like cordyceps, fish maw, and bird's nest. A single look was enough to tell they were high-end products, not the cheap stuff you'd find in a typical store.
He glanced at Ye Feng impassively. 'Looks like he came prepared.'
"These are all for your mother," Ye Feng said, a faint smile on his lips. "I heard from Sicong that she had a bit of a scare, so these should be useful."
Su Chen nodded, not bothering with polite refusals. After all, his mom really did need to recuperate.
As they entered the courtyard, Sicong dismissed his bodyguards. There were simply too many people. With Ye Feng's group of seven or eight, the courtyard would be crowded, let alone the house itself.
