A series of low, firm responses echoed over the comms.
From the abandoned factory, engines roared to life. One by one, camouflaged vehicles sped out, shooting off like arrows toward the drug factory a few miles away.
The convoy first reached its designated position near the command vehicle.
Then, car doors opened silently. Fully armed narcotics officers and SWAT members disembarked, using the cover of night and the terrain to their advantage. Like water seeping into sand, they silently converged from multiple directions, completing their tight encirclement of the Kangda factory.
