An hour later, he was thousands of miles from East City, arriving at a small, unremarkable valley.
The valley's vegetation was sparse, with exposed rock. The energy fluctuations were completely ordinary.
It was utterly featureless, just like countless other ordinary valleys on the Central Continent.
'This is the place.'
Ian landed and swept the area with his Spiritual Power.
He confirmed there were no powerful Energy fluctuations or Wizard settlements for dozens of miles around.
"Gaga, keep watch and scout the area."
"Got it!" The little creature flapped its wings, took to the air, and vanished into the shadows.
