Back in his room, Wen Qingye took out the map Zhang Wen had given him. It was covered in a dense web of lines marking various locations in the Eastern Profound Domain, though most were crudely drawn.
The final point marked on it was the source of the Mingzhu Strait. A dragon's head was drawn there, marking the map's endpoint—the location of the Dragon Scale that Zhang Wen had mentioned. Yet, it seemed to emanate a murderous intent.
The Ice Python said with some surprise, "Is this map really the one that leads to the Azure Dragon Scale?"
Wen Qingye nodded, carefully examining the map in his hand. "The material this map is made of is extraordinary. It was definitely made from the hide of some Demon Beast. Judging from the material, this Demon Beast was certainly not a simple one."
The Ice Python nodded. "Gathering all of the Azure Dragon's Scales is definitely no simple matter. I have a feeling there's a greater force at play here, hidden from sight."
