As she spoke, Miranda grew a little excited, and a faint blush colored her pale cheeks.
"Hold on!" Julian rubbed his temples, amused. 'What is she even talking about? Just how scared is my mother that I'll never find a wife?'
"Mom, someone will be coming to the house in a few days to treat you."
The moment Julian finished speaking, Harrison shot up from his seat. "Who is it?" he asked urgently. "How confident are they of success? Where did you find this person?"
He fired off three questions in a row, making both Julian and his mother smile helplessly.
"She's someone I like," Julian admitted directly. "And knowing her, if she agreed to come, it means she's very confident. You don't need to worry about that." His admission left both Miranda and Harrison dumbfounded.
'Their son actually has someone he likes? Has hell frozen over? What kind of person could possibly have caught his eye?'
