Elder Faulkner, also worried something might happen, tried to persuade her as well. "He's right, Seraphina. That pearl..."
Seraphina Ashworth raised an eyebrow. She knew they were worried, but she never acted without absolute certainty.

Seeing Seraphina Ashworth's determined expression, Mr. Ashworth was conflicted. "Well..."
