'Hmph, worried about Theon? More like worried his scheme would fall through!'
Quentin Faulkner still didn't know that Shawn Lawson had just betrayed him and exposed his entire plot. A kind smile surfaced on his face as he said, "I heard someone could save Theon, so I came over to see if I could be of any help. Who knew I'd be attacked as soon as I arrived?"
Hearing Quentin Faulkner's voice, the same as it had always been, Shaun Faulkner felt a wave of nausea. The sound grated on him. His sharp gaze shot toward his uncle. "You're still putting on an act, even now? Second Uncle, I've called you that for so many years. I'd like to think I've treated your side of the family well. How could you do this to me? You even sent people to try and wreck The Myriad Pill Tower by any means necessary, just to keep Theon from being treated. How can your heart be so venomous?"
