A smile touched Ronan's lips as he watched the scene unfold. 'These guys really are this fanatical every time they see the Master,' he thought. 'Then again, so am I.' His Master was, after all, the one and only sovereign in all of heaven and earth.
"Iron Guard, surround the Myriad Pill Tower," Seraphina Ashworth commanded, her clear eyes fixed on the middle-aged man standing a short distance away. "Let no one leave. Kill any who dare to defy!" Her icy voice was laced with a bloodthirsty edge.
"Yes!" Receiving their orders, the Iron Guard sprang into action. They moved so fast they were but a blur to the onlookers. In an instant, the atmosphere inside the Myriad Pill Tower grew tense and grim, and the crowd's burgeoning panic intensified.
"We haven't done anything. Why aren't you letting us leave?" some in the crowd began to complain. However, having just witnessed the Iron Guard in action, they didn't dare speak too boldly.
