"What?" Anna cried out in alarm.
She can't speak? 'How is that possible?'
"Alright, all of you may leave. Anna, you stay," Carson said, his voice completely flat.
"Yes, sir."
In an instant, everyone had left the room, leaving only Carson and Anna.
Carson said, "You stay here and look after the Princess. Call me if anything happens."
"Okay."
Anna looked at the cold sweat on Alice's forehead. She was about to reach out and wipe it away when she noticed an unnatural flush on the princess's face. Alice was muttering nonstop about how uncomfortable and hot she felt.
"Princess, what's wrong with you?" Anna grew anxious.
"Carson, get in here, quick! Something's wrong with the Princess!" Anna shouted.
Carson, who had just reached the door, heard Anna's voice and rushed back.
"What's going on?"
Anna pointed at Alice on the bed. "The Princess... I don't know what's happening. See for yourself."
