Seraphina obediently scooted over. "I can drink it myself. You should drink yours, too."
'Since I have to drink it anyway, I might as well get it over with in one gulp.'
Seeing her insist on drinking it herself, Caden indulged her. "Alright."
Seraphina downed it in one gulp and smacked her lips. 'The taste really isn't wonderful at all!'
"So sleepy!" Seraphina placed the bowl back on the tray and let out a small yawn, her clear eyes glistening with moisture.
'Although it didn't taste very good, a warmth spread through her stomach after she drank it, and even her cramps seemed to have eased a little.'
Caden finished his at the same time. After setting the empty bowl aside, he pulled her back into his arms. "Sleep now."
'She had been through so much today. He could see she was truly exhausted. The last time she'd gotten her period, she had been extremely weak.'
'As for everything else, that could wait until tomorrow. He wouldn't let a single person who hurt her get away!'
