"Are there any large, abandoned warehouses around here?"
There were quite a few people watching her from the shadows. With so much foot traffic, it wasn't a good place to make a move. She needed to find somewhere isolated to avoid hurting any innocents.
The driver was a bit dumbfounded. What would such a beautiful girl be doing in a place like that? But the customer is always right. "Yes, there is. We can get there in about half an hour."
A dark, complex look flashed in Seraphina Ashworth's clear eyes. "Then let's go there."
"Alright." The driver started the car and set off.
"Hurry, follow her!" a man in the shadows said urgently, his voice tinged with impatience.
"Hal, don't be so desperate. Be careful you don't end up dying at the hands of a woman one day," another man sneered.
The man called Wayne gave a twisted smile. "A beauty like that is a once-in-a-millennium sight. To die for a woman like her would be a glorious death!"
