Seraphina Ashworth reached for a piece and took a small bite. 'Hmm, this isn't bad,' she thought. 'It tastes a bit like a pastry I used to eat in the Valley of Shades in my past life.'
"Caden!" She held the rest of the pastry up to Caden Reginald's mouth, gesturing for him to open it.
Alice and the others watched her, surprised. In their minds, no matter how much Caden Reginald doted on her, he would never eat something she had already bitten into. To their astonishment, Caden's actions the very next second left them dumbfounded.
