The Old Master's words made the Old Madam's face darken. She grew even more displeased with the Seraphina Ashworth she had yet to meet.
Seeing the Old Master's stern expression, Alice's heart sank. She immediately began to gently coax the Old Madam. "Grandma, please don't be angry. Let's have dinner first."
"That's right, Grandma. You mustn't get so upset it affects your health. Besides, it's dinnertime. We'll be able to see her when she comes down to eat," Roxanna chimed in.

Just then, Charlie spoke at the opportune moment. "Master, Madam, dinner is served."
