Charlie's repeated praise for Seraphina Ashworth made the old man all the more eager to meet her.
"Charlie, your constant use of 'Young Madam'—was that on Damian's orders?" The title "Young Madam" wasn't one to be used lightly. Once someone was addressed that way, the matter was as good as settled.
Charlie smiled and said, "Yes. All the servants in The Ancient Keep call her that now."
The old man let out an "oh," somewhat surprised. 'It seems Damian is serious this time,' he thought.
"Is she really that special?"
Charlie nodded with a smile. "You'll see when you meet her, sir. I'm certain you'll grow to like the Young Madam as well."
"We shall see, then," the old man said, raising his teacup with a hearty laugh.
Seraphina Ashworth's flight had departed in the morning, but by the time she arrived at The Ancient Keep, it was nearly dusk. The plane landed directly on the grounds, startling the servants, who rushed to inform Charlie.
