"Seraphina, I'm afraid I can't stay here with you all," Aurora Reginald said, her voice hoarse. "Could you do me a favor? Arrange for a plane to take me back to Aethelburg later."
"Are you trying to avoid Jacks?" Seraphina Ashworth asked directly, a glint in her clear eyes.
"Yes and no," Aurora Reginald said, slowly shaking her head. "A while ago, my mentor from school told me about a role—the second female lead in a TV drama—that she thought would be a perfect fit for me. She told me to think about it, but I never gave her an answer. Right now, I need a distraction to help me get my emotions in check, so I plan on taking the part. It'll be a good way to get more acting experience, too."
'After rejecting him, I don't know how to face him. It's better if I don't see him at all. Leaving is my best option right now. I'll just be a coward for once.'
"Alright," Seraphina Ashworth responded softly. "If this is what you want, I'll help you."
